Ashlee is a graduate from the University of Northern Colorado where she received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology. After a yearlong internship at SFC, Ashlee is planning to apply to graduate school and hopefully earn a masters degree in social work at the University of Washington. She enjoys volunteering and helping others develop their unique passions in life. In her spare time Ashlee enjoys camping, hiking, and traveling. She especially enjoys living in the Pacific Northwest because it gives her peace of mind but also giving her the ability to see the world in a different light. When asked why she chose to move to Seattle to work as an intern at SFC, Ashlee replies: “I think it’s important to gain perspective in all aspects of the world; Seattle is where my roots are, so it’s a great place to start. I also feel there is a special group of people that share in the same interests and passion as myself, as well as many opportunities here with different organizations.”
It's not the bully. It's not the victim. It's you. Don't be a bystander. Stand up, step in, and speak out. Get caught doing the right thing: Stand For Courage.
